The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK is available in seven trims. The most expensive is the Summit Reserve which has a starting price of $79,340. Lower trims include the Summit, Overland, Trailhawk, Limited, Altitude, and Laredo. Starting prices range from $52,545 to $74,545.
As mentioned, you can now have your cake and eat it when you buy the 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xe. The Summit Reserve top trim has the highest starting price of $89,295. Lower models include the Summit, Overland, Trailhawk, and 4xe. Starting prices range from $75,195 to $87,095.
Engines and Performance
The Laredo, Altitude, and Limited trims come standard with 3.6L V6 engines that deliver 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The Summit Reserve, Summit, Overland, Trailhawk, Limited, and Altitude can be purchased in the optional 2.0L Hybrid engine. This engine produces 470 pound-feet of torque and 375 horsepower. The Summit Reserve, Summit, Overland, and Trailhawk models can also be bought in a 5.7L V8 engine configuration. The V8 engine distributes 357 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. All V6 engines have rear-wheel drive and eight-speed transmissions. You do have the option to upgrade each V6 to a four-wheel drivetrain. V8 engine configurations have standard four-wheel drive.
All 4xe trims have standard four-wheel drive and Quadra-Trac II 4x4 systems. Quadra-Trac I is available in the Laredo, Altitude, and Limited fuel versions. The Summit Reserve, Summit, Overland, and Trailhawk come standard with Quadra-Trac II 4x4 systems. The Quadra-Trac system constantly senses changing rough terrain conditions and distributes torque to wheels where it senses more power is needed. All trims, excluding the Laredo, have Jeep’s signature Selec-Terrain Traction systems for more advanced off-roading conditions.
Safety and Technology
All 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee trims have fantastically advanced driver aids. You’ll get adaptive cruise control, an active lane management system, a forward-collision warning system with dynamic braking, a pedestrian and cyclist detection system, and a blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection system.
All models have a 21.33cm Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen and a 26cm full colour frameless digital gauge. Standard USB ports and mobile phone integration are also included.
